I am also going to try and make this. Do we need to make reservations at the meadow to camp or is there tons of room? I won't be sure if I'm making it until the week before I can't take anymore leave at this point and the wife's schedule is not made yet so time will tell but I am really going to try hard.

No reservations needed.

There is always room to squeeze more in...

Years past when this event was at Evan's Creek, we always found a way to fit everyone in. It could get a little tight, but I always had a blast. There should be PLENTY of room at the meadow, it's a big meadow. :D

Negative. Same place as last year.

Looking at a map, I see a "Longmire Meadow" further up Little Naches Rd, but I think (from past experience) that this will be in the large meadow south of Crow Creek campground (right across the little naches river from "Kaner Flat"). The Bing maps link in the first has directions to this meadow as well, but the map doesn't call it "Longmire".

I plan on driving around aimlessly until I see a large group of shady looking characters... then I'll know I'm there.

The M&G is in Long meadow, unless they have changed the names around there the first post was a typo.

Pack it in - Pack it out :smt114

There is enough room to accommodate any truck trailer or tractor trailer.

The last time I went to Naches I went from Yakima. How is the highway coming from up 123 to 410 from the west side of Highway 12 (the I5 side)?

I haven't been out there since last year, but it was okay. Typical 2 lane mountain highway.

Through Yakima is waaaaaay slower. Take hwy 12 through Packwood then through the National park (Its a bit of a pull but that will be good for your new truck).

I am going to try and be there. Kind of new to the Jeep world, but not to wheeling. I'll be coming from PDX.

Signs are done. Look for them coming both directions off of SR410, at the bridge to turn off, at the intersection for Crow Creek/Ravens Roost (don't turn there), and into the campground area where the event will be! These are what you will be following:

You can catch a chipmunk with a coors light box and frito's....Just sayin. Perhaps a M&G tradition or contest? If MikeM wasn't such a baby we could have shaved it.
