Started another new car for Crystal and Team Those Gals, then it got shelved to do a quick (3 weeks) roller for Justin and "Team Those Kids" right before the end of last year before he went to Japan, so don't have a lot of pictures of the build, basically only as it being a roller and at his house finishing it as he is in town.

FTH-2 Promod chassis, 106" wb, 5.3L/th400/atlas Trail gear 9" axle front axle and knuckles (45* steering) trail gear 9"rear, driver drop front and offset driver rear, 3 link and panhard front and rear, Radflo air shocks, PRP seats, Jeep CJ clip and skins

Almost as a roller, checking steering angle and front shock location

Its a roller

Front panhard with 360* brackets

rear three link and panhard bar, simple and clean tube work, everything serves a purpose and no extra crap
Image

Rear was offset to driver side to match the front, idea is that if you get the front through and obstacle the rear will follow and the diffs are in front of and behind the driver seat

At Justins getting hood on and steering angle

Justin getting front clip arranged

Put Crystals cradle back on the table and then took it down to build Opies FTH-2 Promod with XJ skins

FTH-2 Promod chassis, 106" wb, 3400 LA1, 60Deg 904, STaK D300, Re-use the 609 from the XJ buggy, but make it turn 45*, trail gear rear 9" rear, driver drop front, offset passenger drop rear,
three link and panhard front and rear, Fox air shocks, PRP seats, Jeep XJ clip and skins

Opies last XJ

All the plate work on Opies Chassis is 4mm Domex, starting the lower link mounts
Image

Setting the drivetrain into the chassis fixtured to the table, the drivetrain is pushed to the passenger side about 4"
Image

Rear offset 9" with panhard mount
Image

taking a cue from Jesse Haines.. offsetting the rear axle allows the fuel cell to sit beside the driveline at skid plate height

another view of tank location

Starting the front tube work

checking for clearance in the rear

Ready to come off the table

painted and a roller
Image

ready for comps all skinned out

After Opies was done, started to put Crystals cradle up again and a friend decided to tear about his CJ7 project for a chassis, so

Seans FTH-2 Promod chassis, 108" wb, 5.3L/th400/205 60's front and rear with Artec trusses, dual triangulated four links front and rear, Radflo coilovers and air bumps, PRP seats, Jeep CJ clip and skins

Starting the cradle of the chassis with 4 seater chassis tube setting out
Image

rear corner node

main cab section and rear tube work done, sitting at 108" wb
Image

modifying rear truss to get coiler mounts lower
Image

Thats about where this one is now, once it comes off table we will be starting a four seater, or 1 of 2 single seat transverse Honda powered buggies.
