Figured I'd post up some good shots we've had recently, of random shop work, customers rigs. Nothing fancy, just a bunch of broken junk.

Pretty sure I have a video of your explorer wheel/tire that has a few inches of play in it from the bad wheel bearing.

Hope you're not in a hurry. :f2: I will try to make arrangements with you to get it picked up this week, but Jason is on vaca next week and I'm gone for Vegas to Reno from Wed on. I'm currently booking into the following week, the week of the 20th.

Rig spent it's life at the ocean. Used mag alum. wheels with shank style lug nuts. The shank/shoulder portion of lug nut seized and corroded incredibly badly into the center of the wheel. When the customer went to remove lug nuts, the hex portion of all of them (but one I think) snapped off, leaving the threaded shoulder part inside the center of the wheel, seized on the lug, and corroded to the aluminum wheel center. The first one Jason cut the wheel off, then beat, chiseled, cut the wheel until he had the idea to hole-saw around what was left of the lug nut. Once that idea worked, it was fairly easy work to get what was left of the wheels off, cut off remaining wheel stud/broken lug, remove axle shafts, press out studs, press in new studs, and reassemble.
