Well Me Chris and Ken had a fun trip to canada today, crossed the border at about 4am, had breakfest at dennys up in north vancouver where the service and the coke sucked ass. Drove back to the border by sun up and got lectured byt the border dude on how US drivers lic's arent enough ID to get back to this great country, but he let us go anyways, got home about 8:30 and just woke up.Thanks Chris for making it happen

That was a damn awsome trip!! We outght to do that again, isn't it funny how the Canadian border guy was like \"do you have any tobbacco, whats the purpose of you visit? Have a nice day.\"

I liked Ken's quote the best, the US border goon is like \"I could send you back to Canada, but I'll let you go because it trust you.\" Then Ken says \"I ain't going back to a place with crappy coke like that!\"

I like how we ended up there to, weren't we supposed to end up at the casino in Mt. Vernon? I think we missed the exit :D:

I'm not sure what kind of \"coke\" ;) your talking about but as far as our canadian coke a cola goes I dont notice any difference between the american and canadian drink. Maybe that denny's water'd it down or worse.

I guess its a trade off cause. Canadian milk is better than american milk and American coke is better than canadian coke.

Now back to the thread:

Yep Canada has it's own ways I guess. I'd like to make that trip sometime.

Hey Dean
No I get my liscence back on December 22nd and I just got my 33x12.5 Baja Claws on Pro-comp Series 51 Black Steelies , and im in the middle of debating on buying the RE 5.5\" long arm kit or the full traction 6\" long arm kit. Anyone got any input on that. And the lift has to be on the truck before i get my liscence back.

Aren't you still in school? How the hell do you afford that? and why BEFORE you get your license back? Or are the new tires the only ones you have and they won't fit until the lift?

You wanna make the exact same trip? The trip started at like 6 PM and ended about 12 hours later......

Included a stop at just about every casino between Everett and the border, wandering Vanc. to see all the clubs letting out at like 4 am, a trip up to Grouse Mountain, a stop at a lame North Vanc. Denny's, and a 20 minute delay being harrassed at the border (should dropped the \"flying dutchman\" on him)

All in all, this was a badass trip. We should indeed do this again!

Hey Dean

No im not in school I'm talking a break (dropped out) thats another story. I can afford it because I work my ass off on a dairy farm split shifts so 5am till maybe 10am and then back at 2:30pm until like 7:30pm. And the lift needs to be on for a few reasons first is all my other tires are bald like im talking unsafe to drive on the road bald and i refuse to go threw that again. Second is for clearing the 33's better.Third is because my tie rod , trac bar , and whatnot need to be replaced to have my vehicle back to a safe standard. Im sure everyone will flame me for keeping this off topic conversation going in this thread so just email me a response to this message to my email address lickdj@shaw.ca

I thought Denny's served Pepsi, not Coke. Never really paid attention though as I don't like cola.

Could be worse though. Hard to tell the Coke from the Root Beer at Boston Pizza, right DJ?

Hmmm, that might explain it....but it still tasted odd. Perhaps it was indeed watered down or something.
