Set out to have some fun on my own Sunday morning around 10. I figured I could run some of my favorite trails down there and be home before dinner. Rolled into the parking lot and aired down then started up 311

File comment: Got to the look out . I had to battle the left side of the rock face for a while. I finally got up but it did some damage to my rear fender flare. Found a stock tj not to far up the trail. Hey, snow, awesome

File comment: Bottom of the road that leads down from 311 to the camp ground I ran in to a group. Two YJs and flat fender. I thought the guy behind me could make it down on his own. Not the case, I backed up the hill and pulled him out and towed him out for the rest of the trail.

File comment: Found the hold up. Black JK along side a green TJ. Nice JK but seemed too heavy for the snow. The next couple of hours was a winch fest. It took a few hours to get about 200 yards through this section. You can see the flat fender and YJs in the back ground

File comment: All done airing up. My day consisted winching a JK all day long and towing a tj through the snow. I will have to wait until next time to hit some other trails. It's still better than yard work.

This is the start of the snow. After this is when I started to tow the TJ down the mountain

Awesome. Was it halfway decent snow or more like the "snowment" we usually encounter this time of year?

The snow was pretty wet and sticky. One point I stopped for the log jam in front of me and just dug in. I think it had more to do with the fact I was towing the TJ and he was stuck. I had to hook up a line and pulled myself out with the TJ still hooked on a tow strap.

That TJ is getting an 8.8, locker, and re-gear next week. :roflmao:

That's what he said , I wasn't sure if you were doing the work. Nice guy, just getting in to the whole Jeep thing.
