Just got back from a week in Moab, couldn't be happier with the new suspension setup. Had a front spring come part unseated and had to tighten jamb nuts after the first day, otherwise zero issues. Went with a bunch of friends from California, had mostly bigger stretched rigs on 40+ tires with the exception of my tj on 35's, a cloaked jku on 35's, a bronco on 35's, an lj on 35's, and an Fj on 37's. We did hells revenge the first day and had a friend stand on three wheels at hells gate, wanted very badly to hook up a winch at the bottom after watching this happen:Image
Even one of the built rigs had issues when falling off a decent line:Image
But I found my wevos and went for it, never felt the tire lift and from the cab it felt solid the whole time-video not uploading in Tapatalk for some reason

The next day we did prichett... the first easier part. Several rigs turned around when it became obvious that the short wheelbase rigs were going to have to winch every obstacle

The next day was raining and we did in town shopping and had a rest/drinking day.
Then it was back to wheeling with golden spike, poison spider, gold bar rim/and a look at rusty nail for me. We made it to the first big obstacle on rusty nail and decided wheelbase was lacking-plus I didn't feel good fiddling with the clutch for how hairy the trail looked. Have a video of launch pad that is again not working?
Here I am wishing for an axle that could hold up to a front locker

And an obligatory golden spike shot

The last day we did Moab rim which was a new one for us, great trail with some off camber pucker up front and a cool sand dune hill towards the end

We are trying to go every other year, too expensive and far to go much more for me. Made the trip home in 17 hours flat with the new truck though. Wasn't fun but nice to be home.
