A few of us went up in the snow today. Came back to the tow rigs and someone broke the driver side window out. lots of white trash up there :(

Snow was deep, 2' at the mine, 3' at coplay and 4' at surprise.

Did they steal anything? If not I'm thinking more likely hippie snowshoers.

We parked across the carbon river bridge by the garbage dump/shooting range. It's the only spot big enough for 3 trucks and trailers. It's the same place we always park. Never seen hippies up there in the snow, only in the summer at the Summit lake trailhead.

While we were driving in, a black car with 3 redneck looking guys stopped and told us there was a big tree blocking the road and a group of 6 wheelers on 40" tires were stuck trying to go around it. They were full of shit and real schetchy looking (cowboy hat and big TACOMA arm tattoo and knuckles tattoos). We talked to a guy that came up a little later and said the 3 guys in the car were by the bridge drinking beer and had a fire going. Might have been them that broke the window out. Nothing was taken, probably just looking for a pistol. There was an $80 flashlight and a bunch of hand tools that was still in the center consol. Truck is a 6" lifted Ford crew cab on 37" tires and dark tinted windows.

That sucks !we always park at that same spot too, b UT have never had a problem before . Sorry about your luck . Makes a guy think twice now about parking there but it is the only good spot for truck and trailers unless you park at the y to Evans creek.
