Decided to get out and do a little hike on Saturday so I filled up my backpack with some extra clothes food and water drove out to the Carbon river with no real destination in mind just to get out and enjoy nature. Made it to Ipsut Creek campground and had lunch. After lunch I looked at the map and decided this being the first time out in awhile I would just head back down. All in all it was a great day and plan on making it up to the Carbon Glacier this spring.

Is it still possible to ride a bike on the old road to Ipsut CG? I know it had some nasty washouts awhile back...

Yes. There are a couple wash outs but shouldn't stop anyone on a bike. Actually saw a group that had gone up the day before to camp up at the glacier.
