I talked Chris and Tim into doing a quick run up to Tinkham and Denny early this morning so we could be back in time for the game.

We did some of this.

Then Tim tried shortening his wheelbase... but only the passenger side :bang:
Took out a LCA, shock, rim, swaybar, and the axle tube after hitting a snow-covered boulder.

Then some of this a dozen times.

To get it looking this good.

We strapped the axle in place using the winch and a tree saver.

We got him back down the mountain and RyanL drove up with his trailer and took him home

Chris and I did a quick run up Denny while Tim waited for Ryan.

I see that escalated quickly.
Glad you were able to get it back down safe.

Not very fast, maybe about 20, but just hit wrong. Oddly enough, had he hit head-on, he would have been fine and maybe just killed a tire, it was just a freak hit.

Thanks for everyone's help today. Without it would have been a lot worse getting out of there.

Wasn't going too fast. I think the wheel hitting flat on the flat rock is what cause so much damage. If it would have hit the tire the damage would have been less I think. Also need to remember they're cheap wheels and stock linkages with an already weak housing which might be straight still(although with all the other hell I've given it I'd be surprised.)

Ouch... couldn't tell all that from the FB post I saw, that's an unlucky hit. I didn't realize you had stock CAs under there...
