For anyone interested, here are the pics of the Liberty trip last weekend.

Liberty Photo Album

A lot of the pics are quite scenic and I didn't get any shots of the difficult trails - too hard to juggle a camera while picking and navigating a line. Overall I'd say the trails were comparable to what we ran on the Naches trip a couple of months ago. The snow just made it more interesting.

There were only two of us - Hards91xj and myself - on the run but we had a great time. Covered 80 miles of trails and the forrest service roads that connect them.

And, as you can see, my new camera works MUCH better when it isn't in macro mode ;)

Why thank you Howard. Tried to keep it brief and only put 47/198 pics in the album, but I thought they cataloged the day pretty well.

I'm ready to do it again :D:

Looks like fun. I'd like to get over in that area sometime, never been. Probably have to be spring now though :)

I might try a snow run there to see whats open to wheeled vehicles.

good luck as that is a BIG snowmobile area the FS roads are groomed for that use and driving on them will get you a fine and some hella pissed off drunk snowmobilers, not too mention the snow gets too deep for jeeps up there.
The only way it would work is if you timed it just right before they start maintaining the trails.
