That looks like moon rocks from the teaser pics, haven't looked at the rest yet. When did you guys go there?

OK, just looked at the rest of the pictures, that looks like it was a blast!!! We should have gone there Sunday instead of Evans! ;) I would like to get there ONCE more before snow gets too bad.

It was last minute planning but had to take advantage of the nice weather and the fact that naches closes in a week for snowmobilers. So I convinced Corey to get sick and wake up at 5AM to go wheelin. We met at Coreys house at 6 and were starting up the Naches trail right outside of Greenwater at 8AM. There was a few inches of snow left on Naches Pass but turned to only be in shady spots as we came down the eastern slope, where we found this!: Image Thumbstashio!
By 10 we were heading up to the Funny Rocks and the Moon Rocks. This was the 1st time I have been to the Moon rocks and I dont know why. The Moon rocks have a ton more lines and cover a lot more area. Ive been to the Funny rocks several times but just never went the other direction. There was a few inches of snow up here too which made climbing up the rocks a little more difficult but fun. After Makenna played in the snow and we ate some lunch we headed over to the Funny rocks to give my air line another try.....well I blew yet another line but was easily fixable this time. After playing a bit and being owned by the wet crack we headed out. We took the Tripod Flat trail out to the Manastash Creek area and then over to Cle Elum over the FS roads and some extremely twisty trail.

Took 12 hours from start to finish. The weather was clear and sunny and the temp was actually warm for having snow on the ground. Good times, Good times. The hilight was when my Carhart Jacket caught on fire from sitting on the bare floor board right above the muffler. Will get a pick of whats left  but it made up for it as i learned I can cook my HotPockets on the floor and not have to get out and pop the hood ;)

I used to cook on the right rear floor of my YJ. We'd go to McD's when they had their 10 Cheeseburger special. Just leave the back back there on the floor and have warm cheeseburgers all day long ;) Sounds like a great trip, we'll have to do something like that when I can go :) Got any more sick days this week? hehehe

Yeah that is why I don't work either, I can do whatever whenever and not answer to anyone. ;) Pretty soon I won't be able to do that though, I am trying to go back to school!!

Looked like a fun run, Kenna told me all about it.....Even the part where she woke up screaming and couldn't breathe cause daddy's jeep was on fire ;)

Naches is a great area to go wheelin. The Moon Rocks are a blast cant wait to run them without the snow.
