It's on facebook. Copper creek road, around 1000 people are interested, might be a larger cluster f#ck then a normal weekend up there. Crewcabs hauling pallets and beer with 65 psi in the tires don't do good in the snow. Hardly anyone has tow straps or shovels.

I go up and drive around the traffic jams. Once there is about 6 feet of snow at the top it's 90% rigs with lockers and winches up there. We will be in the snow Saturday and Sunday, just not sure where. Maybe back to Surprise, it's been too soft and deep the last few weekends.

I might be interested in a run on the 1st. Not 100% certain of my schedule yet.
I would would probably be headed up to Snoqualmie Pass area (Tinkham/Denny Creek) and not likely to go somewhere much further south.

I guess I am pretty open. Since I will be skiing on Saturday and will still need to load my buggy on the trailer I would prefer not too early.
Thinking maybe 10AM?

Parking? Depends on the snow level since I have not been up recently. If there is plenty of snow at the exit (Exit 47, Asahel Curtis) I usually park somewhere close to the intersection of FS 9034 and FS 5800. If there isn't as much snow I usually head up FS5800 till I find a good pull out with plenty of room to unload closer to where they stop plowing.

Exit 47, turn left at the top of the ramp (over the freeway) Turn right at the T, (goes back under the freeway) and I will be parked somewhere safe along there to unload.
10 AM.

It shouldn't be difficult to find.

If you PM me i can send you my cell phone if that helps also?
Michael

How was the snow by denny creek? We went up by Mt Baker, snow was 4-5 foot deep, marginal compaction. Up hill was slow going, either crawl or full throttle. One jeep blew his 4.0. Had about 28 rigs up there. Happy new year!

I didn't end up going. Considering the snow conditions I have seen at Baker and Stevens I am surprised that it is not compacting better?
Where were you guys near Baker? I have never been wheeling up that way, is it a decent place? How do you make room for 28 rigs?

We were between the town of Welcome and Mt baker. Maybe 2800' elevation on a forest service road. All the tow rigs were parked in a gravel pit. We had a good time but the roads by Ashford and Wilkerson are better but that was my first time in that area.
