I know there is a gravel pit up FS1902 just past Long Meadow campground. I've not shot there or seen any signs of shooting, but i know there is a pit anyway. :dunno: It might be worth checking out.

PS. It's bow season so look out for camo dudes hiding in the bushes. :peep:

This pit is on the FSR 1920 ( FSR 1902 goes to Ravens Roost). Stay past Long Meadow. Stay right at major intersection and the pit will be on the left. Take target stands.

Bring your firewood and/or saws!!!!

Updated: September 6, 2016

Campfire restrictions have been lifted on national forest lands in Chelan, Kittitas and Yakima Counties. This means that forest visitors can once again enjoy campfires in all locations where campfires are normally allowed on the Chelan, Entiat, Wenatchee River, Cle Elum, and Naches Ranger Districts. Normal year-round restrictions remain in effect prohibiting campfires within a half mile of some Wilderness Area lakes and above 5,000' elevation in Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

Well folks, I just dodged a big bullet with my dog. Prognosis was 50/50 Tuesday and two very long days later his kidneys are working again and he's home. The not knowing was tough. So my plans for this weekend revolve around his health and condition.

My plan is to come up for the day Saturday and if Harley is doing well with camping I'll stay Saturday night. I'm not bringing the rig but I will bring my targets (three steel full size silhouetts with stands and a 12" gong) and a few choice selections from the arsenal if you guys are going to plink Saturday. Definitely in for that. Will know for sure if I'm a go later today.

Happy Friday everyone.

Thanks bud. We're pretty much in the clear now. He's not 100% but a solid 95% and improving fast. I'll be heading up Saturday morning. See you guys tomorrow.

Good times, the wife and kids had fun. Ran the Wagon Trail, ravens roost and up to the funny rocks. Kim got to ride in the Power Wagon.

I some how came back with more zip ties than I left with.

Yeah, I had one under my vehicle that I couldn't find and drove me nuts leaving yesterday. Pulled over and couldn't find it. I guess it eventually broke driving on the highway as it stopped by the time I got to Enumclaw.

Mine were way up near the T case, didn't spot them at first glance, definitely a pro move...

I had a great time. My little Ewok certainly seems to have enjoyed his first ever camping trip as well. Good times.
