I've got two friends in town next weekend and would like to take them out wheeling. Anyone planning a run next Saturday? I definitely don't want to be going out solo.

I need to fab up a new front panhard bar, but I should have it ready by the weekend. Where were you planning on going?

I was thinking Elbe because everyone talks about it. I've actually never been out there myself but hear nothing but awesome stuff about it. But I'm open to just about anything. Not looking to plan something more looking to tag along if anyone wants to plan something.

We can do Elbe. How well built is your rig?

It's build for Elbe. I replied in a few posts ago with my specs. It'll make it.

Cool! Let's do Elbe.

How early do you want to head out? Looks like there is a group going to Tahuya if you want a bigger group. Other wise totally down with the challenge at Elbe. Friend went to Elbe last weekend and the videos he sent me looked slimey

Let's meet at the Burnett Chevron at 9am? Does that work or earlier?

I think you might be confusing Elbe with Even's Creek.

The Burnett Chevron is on the way to Even's and it's closed until spring.

We'll meet at the train lodge / bar in Elbe at 10AM. It's right on Hwy 7. From there we can drive up to the staging area. If you want to attract more rigs, you might want to edit "ELBE RUN" into the heading and you might get some more responses.

Fabricated a new panhard bar, new seats and safety harnesses, trimmed the fenders, and now I just realized I have a busted front pinion yoke. I ordered a new one from Summit next day air so I am pushing hard to be up and running

Great pics, how did it turn out? How many rigs? How long of a day? Damage vs. fun?

We had a great time. There were only 2 of us (though tons of other rigs and groups up there). We started on the Main line and worked our way up skipping the "Busy" because Mr baker as testing out a recently purchased rig. The trails we wet and slick and the Alder Gate Keeper proved a challenge. I walked through it until I snapped a valve stem (swapped in my spare), but Matt got stuck for an quite a while. After a while he got through and we continued. In the end, no real breakage and a great time on the trail.
