Normally this time of year I would prefer to be in the snow but so far the snow conditions for wheeling have not been great (at least from what I have seen).

So I am thinking Reiter Trails? I haven't been out there since it first closed years ago but I understand it is back open and has some areas to enjoy?
Anyone else interested in coming along? I have no idea what to expect since I have not been there since it has been back open.

Michael

I'm in. I also have not been there since before it closed and am anxious to see what it is like.

Not much traffic on this post. Still interested in Reiter on Feb. 6th? I'm still in

Orangecrush, Sorry we didn't get to meet up and I hope I didn't screw up your plans!

I haven't been able to much web wheeling the last couple of weeks due to traveling for work.

Had an incredible day at Reiter. It is a totally different place than it used to be and the work done on the trails is absolutely incredible!
Non stop technical rock sections and the trails are in awesome condition!

I think we ran every trail section in both directions.

I will write up a report later this week and try to post a link to some video's once I get them downloaded.

Glad it was an awesome. I am looking forward to running out there. As a coincidence, I went to Elbe with what I am told is your old XJ.

good to hear it is still getting some use and is holding together!
It would be quite the trip down memory lane to wheel with it again :eek2:

Did you do the super narrow buggy trail with the crazy gate keeper?

When I get back from SoCal I want to plan another Elbe ride. The guys I were with really enjoyed it. So be on the lookout for that. You may have to play hookie from work though.

Yes! Incredibly tight trail!
Other than the sign on the gate keeper I was begining to question that it wasn't a quad trail or side by side trail.

I didn't do Candy Corn :eek1: But I believe we ran everything else.

I have never been down to Elbe so I would like to go run those trails (not really my style of wheeling ) but would like to see them.

Give me some notice on the date and I will try to make it work,

Michael
