I just confirmed that the new FS LEO, Tyler Smith, will be closing the gate tomorrow morning (TUE 12/15)...they will open it back up on FRI 04/01.

Where does it get closed off at? Curious if one can play in some snow near there or if the FS roads off carbon river rd stay open up the mountain?

They close the gate right before you enter the first parking lot...you should be able to drive the road up all the way up to the gate for Lake Mowich.
