Black of course.
Barbie Jeep owners will recruit XJ owners to help them open a door that's "stuck", only to be shown it's actually locked.
If you spend $500 on raffle tickets, you will win everything.
:-m NEEDS a JeepSpeed rig or his will be destroyed here shortly.
Pat makes some sick buggies and Joe can drive them.
If you pace your drinking you can stay up past 1am (who knew?).
Hair Shirts are not as cool as they sound.
Corn Whiskey from a Mason Jar doesn't make you go blind. YMMV.
42" PitBull Rockers are cheating.
The Woody can go limp.

Thank you to ACRO for a delicious dinner.
Thank you to dezertdog for helping me with all things scavenger hunt.
Thank you to Shotmobile for the lights and music.
Thank you to John90XJ for all your hard work putting on the raffle.
Thank you to Scott Frary and your wife for your amazing generosity.
Thank you to Diandra for feeding the pack.
Thank you to the Iowa, Idaho, and PDX crews for making the drive.
Thank you to KO for the ride in your rig.

Thanks, Drea. Too bad we didn't run any trails together.

I learned not to put your camera in a shallow pocket- it now RIP on the 102 in a mud puddle (If anyone finds it-its got some great pics :brows: )

Thanks to:
Scott, CMoore, Danny, Myke, Shorty- it was great to wheel with you guys.
Koja- I appreciate the ride back, and the hospitality. Tell your daughter she's a Wench :hi:
And thanks to ACRO for the grub.

I learned that next time I need to go talk to more new people, and try to get on more trail runs with groups.
Also learned that it's possible for a branch to swing back and shatter out your back hatch window, even when you're going pretty fast :hmm:

John M and others who helped - Thank you for dinner, it was great.
John H and others who helped - Thank you for putting on an awesome raffle.
Opie - Thanks for an awesome breakfast.

Mike F - excited to see your Jeep done and go wheeling with you.

I learned that 3 front wheel drive, high range, 1st gear on the rev limiter burnouts with 40's is one too many...
If you cook breakfast burritos, people will be your friend.
My Cocker Spaniel is a rock crawling beast.
Your wife will get mad at you if you randomly disapear for hours at a time :help:
Both of my coolers were still half full of ice after 60+ hours.
If you're going to do a burnout on a rock face, do it in front of someone who isn't going to lose their camera

Thanks to everyone that was there. We had a blast and can't wait for next year.

Big thanks to Drae and Kyle for organizing the scavenger hunt! That looked like great fun, even though I didn't participate. I'm sure this will be a permanent addition to our annual event, the participants had a great time!

Things learned:

Not many PNWJeep guys carry torx.
The Good Doctor is a genius.
Oltmann has one hairy ass man sweater.
H8er's Jeep drives real nice.
MP is as sweet as always.
The POR ladies are WAY to pretty to be with those turds. :D
You can legally buy moonshine.
You CAN drink two days in a row until 2-3am and still function the next day.

Thanks to everyone involved with the M&G. Everyone I met there was top-notch.

Also, I learned that while stomping through the woods and coming upon a wasps nest, they go after the littlest guy in the group, or in our case... my son Conner. He got stung 11 times total. He was in pain for a while but doing fine today.

That was terrible, I pulled 4 off his head and neck that second time, one got me on the inside of the wrist...

I learned that the Jeep can actually go off road.
I learned that wheeling with an automatic rules over the manual.
I learned that when MP says I'm not going it translates to "wait for me until I'm ready"
I learned that I shouldn't go off wheeling for more than an hour at a time before checking in with my wife.
I learned that John cooks one mean tri-tip.
I learned that Jen does make killer 'tato salad.
I learned that the Yukon, although it has a tow package, isn't the greatest tow rig.
I learned that I need a good lap belt.
I learned that my Warn bumper is stronger than -----Matts----- XJ grill

It was reinforced that this is an amazing group of people. Everyone was just great. A huge thanks to the PNW crew for putting this on. The scavenger hunt was just an awesome time, it really got people involved in getting to know other people and just having fun plus some trail clean up was accomplished.

It was awesome to wheel and talk with everyone. Thanks for making MP and I feel welcome to the group and a big thanks to Brian for sharing his camping spot with us and even providing MP a table!

Oh no. Cody got stung too I think while he was chasing your RC car it must have stirred something up. I'm glad he's feeling better, Cody enjoyed playing with him.

 I'm not married but I have already learned these things too. Also, don't say your just going to hang out then leave with someone else without checking-in.

Thanks to everyone but especially Jen M. The potato salad was good.

I learned I need a trailer that will hold my jeep or a jeep (buggy  ) that fits in the trailer because I can only handle so much of being a passenger before I get the shakes from wanting to drive....however.....
I learned that at an event like this it's just as fun to hang out and meet new people and that not having a jeep there isn't all that bad
I learned that JMOP and pennell are the same guy
I learned that alot of people "...Heart Rectal Exams"
I learned that whiskey in a jar is Gluten free...apparently :dunno:
I learned that if my 3 y/o drinks 2oz of Coke, he'll stay awake much later than I want him to :bang:
I learned that if I drink Coke ZERO with my Rum I can consume much more (nearly a fifth friday night) than with regular Coke since there is far less sugar in the drinks to make my stomach hurt (must be a thirty-something problem) Thanks for the idea H

It was great meeting new people that I typically only web-wheel with.
Thanks to H8 and MP for being great "neighbors" and putting up with the generator running long into the night.
Thanks to ACRO for feeding us Saturday night
Thanks to Jen for bringing up a birthday cake for Rochele

What a great turn-out!

I already knew this but it's always nice to see it being replayed:

If you need help, strangers become friends and problems get solved.

Very few sports would have everyone scrambling to help out someone else so quickly. Of course, blocking the trail is a great motivator.

If it makes him feel better I sat on one and it stung me in the ass.
I also learned that my floor drain plug and duct tape can replace the home wreckers missing oil filler cap.
Thanks everyone for putting on a great event

Yep, same here. As much as it sucks to be there without your jeep, I had a great time. I even managed to drive a little.

I learned that John drives the Sublime YJ like he's in the Baja 1000. (that was freakin' awesome)

I learned that despite the way Horus's Jeep looks, it really kicks ass.

I learned that the mighty Wang doesn't need sleep.

I learned that I need to spend more on raffle tickets next year.

Thanks to John (Auburn Car Repair) and helpers for the awesome dinner, and everybody else who contributed to the meal. Jen's tater salad is delicious THANK YOU!

Thanks to Drae and Kyle for the scavenger hunt. I felt important for a few minutes

Thanks to John H. and Corey for the raffle/MC and DJ service.

Thanks to the others behind the scenes that helped set it all up.

I learned that;
everyone that recommended getting the new MTR over the KM2s really know what they're talking about. Simply impressive.
no matter how many times a veteran of the sport tells someone that they are about to take an illegal trail some a$$hats wont's listen. :nono:
the majority of the population aren't a$$hats and will actually listen.
I didn't buy enough raffle tickets, but I did get a free hat and some horsepower enhancing stickers.
if you are one of the last people to have a fire going at 3 in the morning, you will get visitors even if they just stumble through camp. :hi:  :drnk:
after 2 days of trails you can find a clea spot on your jeep - under the orange sticker.
and most importantly, that;
ACRO knows how to feed you right. It was delicious. Thank you ACRO and all of the folks that helped with the feast.
the PNWJeep folks put on an excellent event. Thank you so much for a worry free weekend of wheelin'.

Since the event, I have learned;
that I should have grabbed a second plate at dinner because I didn't get to try the potato salad. :( Always next year, I hope.

I learned that John M, is faster on the 311 than Mike.
I learned that I can't afford a HEMI....ever.
I learned that Jen's Tater Salad was amazing.
I learned that John H's job isn't easy, it requires walking too.

I thank Scott for a seat
I thank Chevrolet for the spacious interior
I thank Coors Light for the slow mornings
I thank the new guys for coming out
I thank the dude that bought $500 in raffle tickets

Two more things I learned....
H8 PVMT on here is not the same guy as H8n-Pvmnt on http://www.Sandlakeduners.com
The TC transplants that I met, despite being a bunch of jokers when they were on TC, are actually pretty cool people

Had I not toasted the Jeep's tranny I might have called in sick on Saturday and broke something anyway. I would have had fun doing it though.

Learned
1) camping area can sure hold a shxxload of jeeps, people, and dogs
2) Emil is a nice guy, I tried to buy a cable guard at the 25% off price, instead he tried to give it to me (a stranger) for free
3) the guys from Iowa were funnny as hell, friendly as all get out, and had the best horn at the event
4) Galford is no judge of trails "oh 311 is a bunny slope!". Ok, it was not a triple black diamond, but the map lists it as "Most difficult", and certainly these experienced guys didn't think it was a bunny slope!
