Feedback:

I had a chance to sit in them at M&G. While there are remarkably more comfortable than my stockers and I would have loved to win them, the upper back felt funny against my lats ( shape rounded my shoulders forward). :dunno:

Horus looks way too big for them. Like a father sitting in his kid's carseat. I'll be curious to hear his thoughts. :lurker

Thanks to Pat for making these happen. I am more than willing to provide feedback once they are installed. They seemed to fit me alright. My rig gets wheeled every weekend so I'll be able to report back soon after they go in.

As far as installation goes I'm on the fence about how to do it. A basic internal cage has been top on my list for a while. Do a down bar from the hoop and eliminate the front doors completely. That would give me a point to tie them into. On the other hand I could butcher the stock seat brackets and make them work. Hmmm.

I doubt anyone is making aftermarket seat rails for ZJs.

Thanks again.

There are aftermarket brackets for ZJ's. I'll report back to you when I find the info.

I have a set of suspension seats that I was thinking about mounting to my stock electric brackets. I will either weld on new mounts to the top of the OEM bracket or I will first try and tap the existing mouning rail. If my measurments are correct, the seats will just fit on the existing rails with new holes drilled.

I would be really nice to keep the electric mobility so my wife can still drive it and I can adjust it when my back starts aching.

Corbeau makes a bracket for just about every vehicle out there. For the ZJ they make a slider mount that replaces the electric bracket alltogather or a bracket to attach the seat to your exisitng electric bracket so you can keep that option. Maybe find out if there is any difference between the hole spacing on a prp seat and a corbeau seat.
