Just wondering what most people who bring their dogs do. Do they go out on the trails or are they kenneled at camp?

IMO, why bring them just to kennel them? Dogs love Jeep rides.

If your Dog is capable of NOT being run over (I will not slow down) they could trail run it....Shorties Dog is a great example of a dog that can run trails and not be run over.

Our dog will be at Camp with the Wife. If she goes at all. She would be ran over on the trail otherwise.. :)

Oh you. She's so small that if we do take her on the trails, she will be in my lap the whole time. 13 pounds of untrained puppy running rampant on the.. oh look! A stick!
You're wife is always pleased to hear how much you love her, I'm sure...

Dogs on the trail isn't a great idea, at least in large group setting like the M&G. Too much of a distraction and safety issue, especially if they're not trained or used to being offroad.

I will most likely bring my Cocker Spaniel Burt. He only weighs about 35lbs and is good in the Jeep, great with people and other dogs, and will gladly clean off any kids faces that will hold still long enough. His only drawback is that he is a beer burgular, so you have to watch out for that.

That's great. We'll see how she does on the way up. Bringing her home to everett from wenatchee she was great, but adding in the bumps and who knows.
ryan- if your gladiator can catch Madison, she can eat her.
