They made it back. My clutch is a little worse for wear but she went up there and winched them out. The quad passenger is on the way to the hospital with some sore ribs due to the quad landing on her. I told them not to use the Super-Yanker for winching, which translates to: use the Super-Yanker for winching  . Otherwise, nice job in my book.

My wife and daughter are on their way up to Walker Valley to rescue some friends on a 2-up quad who rolled down an embankment. She has to make it through the North-end gatekeeper and some of upper mainline. I'm sure she will figure it out but I'm a little scared. :eek2:

This was awesome to read Rich, I can't imagine my wife having taken the old LJ down a trail alone to rescue someone. Please give her a high-five from all of us!

Will do. She was pumped that she got to be the hero yesterday.

Free Mountain House backpacking meal. If you bought one earlier this year, or can grab one before Monday, here's a 100% mail in rebate coupon...

Woke up to the sound of spinning tires in the street. I watched for an hour as neighbors failed making it up the icy hill. I got dressed got in the jeep and drove right up the hill.

Didn't snow in North Bend last night much. Heard we have gotten 6" since 8am and still snowing hard. Might have to go home at lunch and play the rest of the day.

I just drove to Mt Si and back, 4" at most. Did see a full size pick-up spin-out into the ditch and there's a semi accident near exit 25 of I-90 WB.

This country has been selling it self off piece by piece for years. I'm surprised by this though. Hope it's just fake news. Bad enough Fiat bought Jeep. All good things come to an end I guess.
