I think the whole WFTW wound up being stopped because something happened with the originator. I think funding issues. But I do know that I think it is Cali (at The Rubicon) and Texas (unknown location) do a big event each year. You can get on their forum at www.wheelersforthewoumded.com and see what is going on. I haven't been on there in a long time so I'm in the same boat as you with not knowing much.

I also organize runs look up, "Wheelin With Warriors" This is an event involving all veterans, and active duty members of our military and their family members. No Soldier left behind, I take all out on the runs, as well as their family members. Look up, "Wheelin With Warriors", on facebook I do set up runs all through out the year.

It's 2017 and I got the same question too.
