I got a cheap one for Christmas and I want to get a better one. Anyone know what to look for and what some good brands are? The one thing I know for sure is I want it to have rechargeable batteries and not require AA's.

If you want hobby level, check out www.thetoyz.com

If you want serious stuff, PM Lezbone.

I was given one for christmas from Skylinerctoys.com....I have already crashed it multiple times and it seems to hold up.

Not sure where it ranks in the world of RC helis

The E-Flight / Blade stuff ( http://www.bladehelis.com ) is supported by the Horizon Hobby dist. network, so those probably will have the best parts support at your local hobby shop. They have stuff for every level, from micro twin rotor helis, to 3D capable CP models (can fly upside down).
