How do the 2 in the 1;10 size stack up to each other for Parts an dependability ? I know there is a difference in price. What other pro- con ?

To offer some form of comparision, the Summit is more monster truck, and the Wraith is more Ultra 4/KOH car. The Summit is NOT a crawler. I have one, and it's a blast to bash around and drive over EVERYTHING. It's been very reliable, and parts are just as available as the Wraith.

I`ve been playing with the Nylint Jeep and Scorpion ,I like it`s size and 2 speed .It has wooked good except for the ground clearence problem and I did make it better by going to a smaller O ring on the motors and now I can spin the tires on gravel and sand.
I`ve been wearing out some parts and I don`t have any spares left, I had 3 chassis , so now It`s time to upgrade.
The Wraith is a little smaller ,Summit is wider with almost the same wheelbase. . It has kept me entertained when I didn`t have a Jeep with me . And it`s easier to take care of than a dog...

What do you really want it for?

I know for me RC stuff is fun with friends and trying differnt things and see if everyone can do it, follow the leader sorta stuff.

Buy a used one and have a good time.

Buy witch one ? Mostly I just do the same stuff I do with the big Jeep on a smaller version . I just spent 2 weeks in Clarkston WA. by the Snake River , Lots of river rock 500 feet of river bank plus, made trails through the brush on the 500 foot hillside behind the RV park we were in and climbed the rock that had been laid on a hillside to prevent erosion .I could run for about 1.5 hours till batteries die.

If you are looking for a more realistic, scaled down "Jeeping" experience, the Wraith is the way to go

Summit is more for fun and going fast. Good truck but lots of little parts to break.

Wraith is scale, and awesome. I've had quite a few of the Revo based trucks (that's what a Summit is) and although they're fast, go for a 1/8 truggy if you really want to go fast and not break anything.

Here's my Hot Bodies D8T, I wish I still had this truck and will build another:

1/8 scale is retarded fast and I miss it!

Did you call Gary at Four Seasons, Chris Gould at RC Hobbies, or Gary's son at TRCR in Tacoma? How about John's buddy next to his shop?

I wouldn't recommend the place on Auburn way, they have never been knowledgable on ground stuff.
Did you check with RC Hobbies in Covington?
