If this is a bad idea so be it. I'm out of movies on my Netflix and need some ideas for good movies. If you have a random thought you have a thread. If you have a random photo you have a thread. I have no movies and I want a thread. I will offer up a kick ass movie to hopefully get the ball rolling. Kill the Irishman. It's on Netflix streaming. Good stuff. Ok I'm going to get back to my beer and crap tv shows.

By yourself or watching with your SO? My wife rented Friends with Benefits the other night and it was pretty decent. Hall Pass is another one of my more recent favorites.

I'm solo and watch mainly drama, comedy and everything in between. I watch Family Guy, Archer and Southpark type animation as well. Looking at most of the movies lately have all gave me the impression they ran out of ideas. Boondocks is awesome the movie I listed is similar but based on a true story. There are those movies that get released off the radar that are kick ass. I was wondering if anyone knew of one or two. Also Drea check out All I Can by Sherpa Cinemas. It's available on iTunes to rent. I think it's up your alley.

^^ This. Although nothing can beat Dexter IMO.

Californication is pretty good as well.

Breaking Bad is outstanding. The Sons was pretty good but the last season was kinda weak. Dexter ahh I forgot about Dexter I will put it on the list. If anyone wants a sick and wrong show to watch check out Archer. It's on FX and awesome. Thanks for the recommendations.

I like Justified for a TV series.

I've been annoying the hell out of my wife by watching two episodes a night of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia".

Re watching Bad Lieutenant with Harvey Keitel. I forgot how awesome it is. If you haven't seen it you should check it out. It's not a family friendly film in any way shape or form.

If you liked Gran Torino, and don't mind British accents, check out Harry Brown

If you haven't seen it, watch Taken with Liam Neeson.

I will check it out. Taken was an awesome film. I'm hoping The Gray will be as good as it looks.

An oldie now but The Usual Suspects is fantastic. I've seen it numerous times and I always find something new.

OMG, The Change Up is hilarious.

From the director of Wedding Crashers and the writers of Hangover. Wife and I were literally LOLing...

Breaking bad is awesome and makes me miss the Southwest. I'm gonna have to try Dexter.

Among many above, some of my favorites are:

Worlds Fastest Indian
Master and Commander
True Romance
The Hurt Locker
Most of the Battlestar Gallactica series
The West Wing when Aaron Sorkin was the writer was great too.

Same here but I think you need to have kids. We recommended it to some of our kid-less friends and they said it was ok.
