The 2006 Meet & Greet is being held at Evan's Creek on the 9th and 10th of September. The following sponsors are helping PNWJeep with the raffle. Please click through and visit their sites, check out their products and services and, if the opportunity presents itself, say thanks by making yourself a customer.

I'll be adding more sponsors as they come in. Keep checking back as the event gets closer.

A big thank you to 4Wheel Drive Hardware. They were the first to lend a hand in our raffle this year. Up for grabs is a $250 gift certificate for anything they have in the catalog.

Here's how to find them:

Crawl Magazine has offered up 5 subscriptions for our raffle. They've even got the event on their calendar to come out and see what it's all about.

Currie, famous for 9\" rear ends and innovative Jeep parts, has shown their support for PNWJeep. They've donated two of their E-Z Tire Deflators and some other surprises.

These guys make the coolest HitchStep for getting up on your SUV or truck and now PNWJeep has one to give away. Go Rhino! has donated a black HitchStep and some lucky Jeeper will be using it soon.

OK...this was nice a surprise. North Shore Laboratories sent us their Safety Seal Off Road kit for Tire Repairs. Unlike the kits from discount stores, this is professional grade all the way. Metal handles, high quality supplies, a tool kit to keep it all in...it's a rugged package. They make them for ATVs all they way up to big rigs.

Why wait to win it...they sell direct and you can get it here: http://www.safetyseal.com/store/offroad.htm

End of the Road has sent us six packages of their QUICK FIST Clamps. They hold objects from 1\" to 2 1/2\" in diameter. They mount easily to keep shovels, axes, hoses and other tools or implements securely in place. They even give directions for storing your Hi-Lift. They look like they would be good for axleshafts and driveshafts too.

QUICK FIST Clamps are made in the USA of heavy duty transportation grade rubber and are not affected by hot or cold climates or salt. Should be perfect around here and you can even buy them online.

There was a nice big box on the PNWJeep porch this afternoon...all the way from Louisiana. Thanks to Superlift, some lucky winners will have a complete set of Superide Shocks or one of a pair of eXtreme Ring differential protectors.

They also threw in a big bag of swag so plan on bringing home some Yellow and Black from Superlift.

I doubt this is going to help the Woody at all (I use Minwax ) but it would look good on your Jeeps and tow rigs. Turtle Wax has sent us 6 bottles of their new Ice Liquid Polish.

This stuff is cool...it can go on paint AND rubber, vinyl and plastic. They say there's no white residue. It even includes the applicator and the microfiber towel to wipe it off. You can even wax in the sunshine.

Take a look: http://www.turtlewax.com/

We can thank John and his crew at Auburn Car Repair for feeding us Saturday night. He's generously offered to fill the meat locker with Tri-Tip. We'll probably get some expert Jeep advice too.

For those that aren't familiar with his company, they specialize in Jeeps, stock or modified. With great prices on all the major components you'll need, along with expert installation, it's the only shop you'll need to know.

The cool stuff keeps coming in and it's now less than a month until Raffle Night.

Pro Comp was kind enough to send us 2 sets of foglights, a set of driving lights, and a couple of their really stout tow straps. Who knows...if you win you might even be in the next catalog. Part of the deal is they want to see photos of the winners and our event. That should get some people smiling. 8)

Scott Frary, our local Detroit Locker guy comes through for the club again this year. Only this year it's better than ever.

Eaton Corp., home of the Detroit brand of lockers and limited slips, has generously offered up a gift certificate for a Detroit Locker, a Detroit Truetrac or an Eaton Posi - your choice if you're the lucky winner.

Check out the specs at their site: http://www.detroitlocker.com/index.htm

And Scott knows Jeeps....

Pardon the pun....but there was a shocking surprise on the front porch today at PNWJeep World

Headquarters.

A brand new Odyssey® PC1500 battery AND an Odyssey® Ultimizer 25 amp

charger. For those that know their batteries, this is the hot stuff.

The ODYSSEY® battery combines in one box the characteristics of two separate batteries. It can

deep cycle as well as provide enormous cranking power — it is almost as if a champion long

distance runner and a world class sprinter are one and the same person.

These batteries are capable of providing engine cranking pulses in excess of 1700A for 5 seconds

as well as 400 charge/discharge cycles to 100% depth of discharge (DOD). That makes it perfect

for starting AND winching.

Read the story here and you'll want at least one:

World Headquarters is awash in wax today as I sort and fill promo bags with 500 samples of Meguiar's Gold Class liquid wax. It's all for you to use when you get home after the Meet & Greet. I've been using this stuff for years and it's my favorite. Simple and easy and it smells great too. And best of all, it turns out Gold Class results.

Also included are online tickets for their NXT Generation online contest at http://www.NXTAmpedUp.com

It's available, along with the complete line of Meguiar's products, at all quality auto parts stores.

Visit their site - if they can make the Woody look good, they can certainly make your ride look good too.

I've unlocked this thread so the winners (and losers) can talk about the raffle and their prizes.

I have never seen Dean move so fast to go work on his rig until he won the Odyssey battery and charger. It was pitch black and cold and he was out at his rig putting in the new 1500 he won. At least there is one shiny spot under the hood of the old YJ. 8)

How is everyone else enjoying what they won?

Who do I have to thank for the BRUIT gift set I got?

It wasn't one of the big prizes, but hey, deodorant, cologne, shaving supplies, etc. - its all stuff I'll use. Plus I figure it cost almost exactly what I spent on tickets. :D

I didn't expect to win anything - I was thinking of it more like a small donation support the PNWJ..... so..... THANKS! :smt023

Before you use up all the personal hygene products Bob, check the going rate on E-bay. In case you hadn't noticed, the bag is autographed by Ron Capps, who is the Brut Sponsored Top Fuel driver :)

I went to the 2006 PNWJeep Meet&Greet and all I got was a subscription to this kickass 4x4 magazine named CRAWL (oh and someone told me my heep was even pictured in this month's issue?). Thanks CRAWL! :smt023

Possibly... if you like Ron Capps. And yes, it's real.
