Looking for a decent 7k trailer - tired of trawling on CL.
Thanks

If you bought a BUILT LJ, assuming tons and big tires, you'll likely be over 5k-5400# and therefore exceeding the capacity of a 7k trailer. I'd shop 10k.

Maybe. My little 16 footer weighs 1700 lbs, I load it to 5300 with gear and spares in it.

I wish I could go 10k tilt bed, but can't do it with a SRW truck and camper on it.

Look at the bearings that come on a 3500# axle, and then look at 5200#, that will be enough to convince you.

For this reason I have a 16' 7k up for grabs, not on CL yet. Send me a pm for more info. I'm looking for a couple extra feet for dirt bikes plus Jeep so going 18' - 20' 10k.
